Frequently Asked Questions
What is floor vinyl?
It is a hardwearing vinyl for graphic printing, with materials suitable for carpet, hardwood, concrete, and tiled floors. Digital print floor graphics are non-slip and scratch resistant, with a high-quality surface for printing.
What is floor vinyl made from?
Floor stickers and lino are usually made from PVC (polyvinyl chloride), while laminates are also made from polypropylene (PP).
What types of floor vinyl are available?
We stock printable floor lino, embossed PP floor graphic laminate, high and low tack vinyl with a matte or gloss finish, all available in various slip ratings.
What are the applications of floor vinyl?
Printable floor graphics are for commercial applications, such as advertisements, branding campaigns, direction stickers, and table and countertop coverings. We offer vinyl for both short and long-term applications.
How to install floor vinyl
Clean the floor and ensure it is damage-free. Peel off the liner and apply the vinyl using smooth gentle outward strokes holding the squeegee at a 45 degree angle. It is sometimes helpful to use tape to handle the vinyl and line it up correctly.
