Frontlit Display Fabrics

Create stunning backdrops and stage graphics.

Our frontlit display fabrics are ideal for dramatic, exhibition displays, including fabric displays and table cloths and are available in widths up to 3.2 metres wide.

The beauty of frontlit fabrics is they are lightweight and portable, letting you fold them without permanently creasing them. This makes them suitable for long-term graphics on the stage, events, exhibitions, and trade shows.

Frontlit fabrics can have a front coating to enhance light projection, ensuring graphics stand out even in brightly lit spaces. The tight structure of the fabric ensures high opacity, and it has a slight stretch to make installation easy.

Applications include tension fabric displays, table cloths, exhibition stands and much more. The soft and durable surface makes the most of high print resolutions to ensure maximum quality.

Suitable for dye sublimation or UV-C printing, as well as Eco-Solvent, Solvent and Latex and available in widths up to 3.2m. We recommend frontlit fabrics for long-term indoor applications, like trade shows and stage performances.

Frequently Asked Questions

They are printable materials made from a tightly woven, knitted textile that reflects light for colourful, vibrant displays. The fabric is opaque, ensuring minimal light penetration to maximise front viewing quality.

They are made from polyester (PET), sometimes with a PU coating to enhance their opaqueness. The fabric is knitted with a tight structure and are easily recyclable.

What are the different types of frontlit fabrics?

We stock frontlit fabrics in various widths up to 3.2m with fire ratings to B1 certification, making them suitable for indoor displays. We categorise fabrics by weight, with thicker materials suited to larger displays.

Frontlit display fabrics are suitable for exhibition displays, including fabric displays and table cloths. You can specify frontlit fabrics whenever you want a recyclable, PVC-free frontlit material.

How to install frontlit fabrics

Position the display stand or tension frame facing the light source and stretch the frontlit fabric over the fixing system (this might use clips, ties, or clamps). Ensure the fabric isn’t under extreme tension and adjust the lighting accordingly.
