Why should I choose black hardware instead of the standard aluminium/silver finish?
While silver aluminium has traditionally been the standard, matt black creates a more premium, contemporary appearance that complements today's interior design trends. Our products are designed for spaces such as Retail stores, Exhibition and event venues, Car showrooms, Reception areas and Corporate offices These are design-led environments where the display hardware should enhance the overall presentation rather than simply support it. Industry trends also reflect this shift. A 2024 hardware specification report found that 68% of architects and designers now specify matt black as either a primary or secondary finish, compared with just 32% three years earlier.
How much more does the black version cost?
In most cases, black hardware is no more than around 10% more expensive than the equivalent aluminium version. For many products, the difference is minimal.
