Low Tack Vinyls

Removable, high-quality vinyl

Low-tack vinyls are perfect for removable graphics and applications where an aggressive adhesive is undesirable. The low-tack adhesive lets you peel off the film without damaging the substrate or leaving residue behind.

We stock a wide range of these vinyls, including monomeric vinyl (short to medium-term use) and polymeric vinyl (long-term use). You can also specify matt and gloss finishes, and a white or grey backing.

Although it is removable, when installed edge to edge, it is difficult to peel off without prying away a corner, making it ideal for shop fronts, advertisements, and signage in high-footfall areas. Removing the vinyl also requires no adhesive remover.

It is suitable for temporary graphics on paintwork and windows, making it an excellent option for retail spaces.

Suitable for use on Solvent, Latex and UV-C printers, you can’t go wrong with our collection of low-tack vinyl for wide-format printing applications.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are low-tack vinyls?

They have a low-tack adhesive that doesn’t form a permanent bond with the substrate, making it removable without residue. This makes it ideal for temporary graphics on flat surfaces like glass and aluminium.

What are low-tack vinyls made from?

They are made from PVC (polyvinyl chloride) with additional plasticizers to make it flexible or semi-rigid. The adhesive is an emulsion acrylic, and the liner is typically made from two-sided PE-coated kraft paper.

What are the different types of low-tack vinyl?

We sell it in gloss and matte finishes, with a grey or white back, and in flexible and semi-rigid versions. Some feature a dotted adhesive that allows air to escape making installation easy.

What are the applications of low-tack vinyls?

Removable and non-permanent graphics, stickers, lettering, and coverings are key applications, such as for retail graphics. They can be applied to smooth walls or windows.

How to install low-tack vinyls?

The application surface should be clean and free from loose material. Peel off the vinyl’s lining paper and line up the vinyl to the installation point. Install from the middle and use a squeegee at a 45-degree angle to work towards the edges.
