Frequently Asked Questions
What is wall vinyl?
It is a printable wallpaper or plastic film for walls and other flat surfaces. It is suitable for painted and freshly plastered surfaces, offering photographic print quality for graphics, artwork, and promotional displays.
What is it made from?
Depending on the use case, it can be a plastic film or textile. Plastic polymeric vinyl is usually made from PVC (polyvinyl chloride) and textiles from polyester (PET). The adhesive is an acrylic dispersion or polyacrylic in removable versions.
What types of wall vinyl are available?
Our products include PVC-free eco wallpaper made from cellulose fibres, PET (polyester) wall fabrics for complete blockout, heavy-duty fire-rated PVC wallpaper, textured vinyl for displays, low and high tack vinyl, and laminate coatings.
What are the applications?
It is commonly used to create landscape, seascape, and mountainous backdrops, helping give spaces an outdoor and free-spirited vibe. They are also suitable for branding, advertising, artwork, and covering up minor defects.
How to install it
Start by wiping down the wall and ensuring it is free from flaking paint. Peel the liner off the vinyl and line it up with the wall, sticking it down at the top. To create a bond, take a squeegee and run it down the vinyl at a 45-degree angle.
