What are banner materials?
Banner materials are blank PVC banners for wide and grand-format printing. PVC is the most common banner material because it is durable and compatible with all standard inks, including Eco-Solvent, Solvent, UV-C and Latex inks.
What are banners made from?
PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is the third-most widely produced plastic after polyethene and polypropylene. It is the same plastic used for rigid plastics, except banner formulations have elastomers to make the plastic more flexible.
What are the different types of banner materials?
Banner materials include laminated banners, frontlit banners, backlit banners, blockout banners and mesh banners. Most PVC banners are for outdoor use thanks to high UV resistance but can also be used indoors.

How to install banner materials?
Most PVC banners have a hem with eyelets for tying to a solid fixing, usually with rope, cable ties, or special fixing clamps. If using backlit media, pay special attention to positioning to ensure complete light permeation for display visibility.
